Boiled Egg Recipe
Boiled eggs are such a simple recipe, just requires a few fine details to get a consistent result. This recipe is for the perfect hard boiled egg in my opinion.
I find it’s always handy to have some boiled eggs in the fridge so that if you get stuck for food options you have something easy, quick and convenient ready to go so you don’t resort to poor food choices.
I personally like to add them to a curry sauce for more of a complete meal. Or simply adding to some grated carrot, olive oil, honey and salt for an easy salad. Otherwise I also love this herbal healthy dressing which doesn’t contain any rubbish ingredients: https://www.tinderbox.com.au/collections/to-eat-and-drink/products/herbal-salad-dressing
Directions:
Put the eggs into a saucepan (see below for my recommendations), add room temperature water so the eggs are submerged
Bring to the boil without lid
Once reached boiling, turn off heat and put lid on
Time for 11 minutes, then discard water, run the eggs under tap water to cool them off and prevent further cooking
Peel, store in fridge, enjoy.
*I think it’s important when it comes to eggs that organic and pasture raised are used
