An effective binder is the missing link in any detoxification protocol. But not all binders can do this important job efficiently. How BioToxin Binder Works

Humic Acid & Gut Microbiome - Natures gut microbiota fertilizer?

A study looking at the effect of humic acid supplementation in healthy individuals found an increase in numbers of the preexisting colonic microbiota - by day 10 there was an increase by 20%, by day 31 an increase by 30%. Interestingly the increase was for the most part exclusively to the residential microbiota and thus there wasn’t an increase in overall diversity. The authors of the study concluded: “Humic acids have a profound effect on healthy colonic microbiome and may be potentially interesting substances for the development of drugs that control the innate colonic microbiome.”

So as we can see humic acid does indeed to have a ‘fertilizing’ effect on the resident microbes in our gut.
