Human Milk Oligosaccharides (HMO) Prebiotic Supplement for Kids
No Other Prebiotics Can Replace HMOs: HMOs have unique structures and functions that help with childrens' brain development, defend against pathogens and viruses, and promote the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gut.
Brain and Cognitive Development: HMOs, when consumed by the probiotics in the gut, produce metabolites that fuel childrens' brain and cognitive development. This is why infant formulas have started to include HMOs since 2015.
Premium 5-HMO mix for Kids (Age 1+): 2'-Fucosyllactose (2'-FL), Lacto-N-tetraose (LNT), Lacto-N-neotetraose (LNnT), 6'-Sialyllactose (6'SL), and 3'-Sialyllactose (3'SL). (Patent-pending) This combination better mimics the composition of the true HMO profile found in breast milk.
SuperHMO® Prebiotic for Kids 5 HMOs Benefits
Happy Tummy
HMOs feed the good bugs in the gut and support a balanced and healthy gut environment for kids.
Smart Brain
HMO, when metabolized in the gut, provides essential nutrients for babies' brain development. It's a clinically proven benefit for infants and children.
Strong Immune System
It is estimated ~70% of the immune system resides in the gut, so it's crucial to give your baby the building blocks they need from the start.
5 Types of HMOs
5 of the most abundant HMOs in human milk: 2'-Fucosyllactose (2'-FL), Lacto-N-tetraose (LNT), Lacto-N-neotetraose (LNnT), 6'-Sialyllactose (6'SL), and 3'-Sialyllactose (3'SL)
Scientific Studies on Human Milk Oligosaccharides
Establish Bifidobacteria
"HMOs were first described as prebiotic substrates for the infant gut microbiota, promoting the establishment of bifidobacteria" - FRONTIERS IN PEDIATRICS, 2018 (SCIENTIFIC JOURNAL)
Support Digestive and Immune Health
"HMOs are a very important component of breast milk. They contribute to the development of the infant’s microflora and immune system. By acting via various mechanisms, they protect against many infections and alleviate their course. "- NUTRIENTS, 2020 (SCIENTIFIC JOURNAL)
Block Pathogenic Bacteria
"HMOs also directly modulate host-epithelial immune responses and can selectively reduce binding of pathogenic bacteria and viruses to the gut epithelium preventing the emergence of a disease. " - JOURNAL OF FUNCTIONAL FOODS, 2020 (SCIENTIFIC JOURNAL)
Shaping Early-life Microbiota
"Human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs) may provide health benefits to infants partly by shaping the development of the early-life intestinal microbiota." - AMERICAN SOCIETY FOR MICROBIOLOGY ORG
Promote the Growth of Akkermansia muciniphila
According to a recent study, Akkermansia muciniphila is capable of growing on human milk and breaking down its sugars into two types - monosaccharides and disaccharides - using its glycan-degrading enzymes. Furthermore they found Akkermansia utilized the fucose present in human milk as well as HMO 2'-FL to generate energy, and resulting in the production of 1,2-propanediol.
